Integration with NetApp SnapMirror allows you to meet SLA requirements over longer distances, and inline data reduction technologies including compression and deduplication reduce mirrored storage requirements by at least 4:1.
FlexPod Datacenter is a service-oriented, best-practice private cloud architecture developed and validated jointly by NetApp and Cisco to consolidate servers, network fabric and storage assets for hosting infrastructure software and shared business applications. FlexPod works with major operating systems and hypervisors from Microsoft, VMware and Red Hat. Key components of the FlexPod system include Cisco UCS servers, Cisco converged FC/Ethernet switches, and NetApp SAN storage.
